There is a process that we all go through in our life that is crucial to our walk with God and growing into our God given identity. God took me through understanding this journey of what it looks like in the form of a process of how butterflies are created.
Metamorphosis
The process of transformation from an immature firm to an adult form in two or more distinct stages .
Change of the form or nature of a thing or person into a completely different one, by natural or supernatural means.
Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the father except through me”
Acts 2:38
Peter replied, “ Repent and be baptized, everyone of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.”
The first step in our walk with God is admitting and being honest with ourselves and him realizing that we are sinners which in other words we fall short of God’s glory we are flawed people. But, the great news is that Jesus literally is the way out of the wages of sin and death, with we can have life with our Heavenly Father and have it abundantly. What God wants is to give you life in your in return for your sorrows,pain,depression,heartach, anxieties, etc. He sees the hardships of your life and in return wants to exchange it for the life he’s created for you since the beginning of time He loves and sees you.
Larva Stage - (Idenitity- Building You Up)
2 Corinthians 5:17
“Therefore if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come. The old has gone, the new is here.”
Colossians 2:10
“And in christ you have been brought to fullness. He is the head over every power and authority.”
The revealing of your identity as a son or daughter of our father our king God. This is where your new journey with your father begins what you’ve been through, what you experience is now gone. You are a new creation in God you no longer have to label yourself as what you did or settle for temporarily pleasure that this world offers but, is never fulfilling to your soul you leave feeling empty every time. You learning and growing understand digesting the word of God. You will even experience supernatural growth in rapid ways. Pupa Stage
John 15:1-2
“ I am the true vine, and my father is the husbandman. Every branch in me that bearers not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that bearers fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.”
This stage in my advice is the most crucial and i’m portrait stage. The chill of a butterfly as it is forming in its cocoon is a covering more like a protection from anything getting in until the process of its full development is done. I relate this to many of our lives we are in a season where the cocoon is like the word of God in your life against the tactics of the enemy. When Jesus enter the wilderness season in Matthew 4:1 before he was release into the world to start his ministry. This can look like isolation, separation, loneliness, but, this is truly preparation for the things God has been calling you to and to do. We have been set apart and chosen for such a time of this to really be able to reclaim the land of God from what then enemy has stolen and YOU are a part of that! I know many of you may feel in this season like you n to really for sure why things are going a different way in your life. People leaving you even may feel a tug on your heart to be lead by the Holy Spirit to go deeper in your walk just know that you are ab out to embark on journey where you are not going to be the same anymore. Before there can ever be elevation there will always be sepearation first. This stage is the best stage you could ever be in people won’t even recognize you!
Adult Stage ( Newness)
Isaiah 43:19
“ See I am doing new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.”
Song of Songs 4:1
“Listen, my dearest darling, you are so beautiful—you are beauty itself to me!”
As the butterfly has fully developed into its mature stage in the cocoon it is ready to break out during this process it squeezes its way out breaking free. Now this can relate to your life realizing that the spaces, places, and people you’ve out grown. That season has come and passed now its time to embrace the newness. It’s time to break out of your shell and be the real YOU. One thing that I’ve loved about butterflies is that there 17,500 off species of them all unique in everyday. Were made to be different in how God has designed us to be fully knowing that were accepted in that. I have learn throughout my life its okay to be the only one that looks, talk, has the personality like you because you bring something to the world that needs a YOU.
